Job Description

The Associate Manager, Incentive Compensation Operations is a key strategic partner for all our Franchise sales forces when it comes to understanding the complexities of the Franchise Business rules and implementing them to ensure accurate and timely payouts and goals.

This role requires data analysis ability in order to perform accurate payout reporting. Additionally, this role owns all data related to the development of sales goals for it’s aligned franchise(s).

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to come to our Mettawa, Illinois office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Sales Crediting Operations and Quota Modeling: Execution and Analysis

  • Maintain knowledge of and visibility to the sales crediting process and business rules of the franchise, including: data sources, market definitions, alignments, filtering for on-label specialties [ABS], and the Best Address Process

  • Understands the data needs of the Franchise and actively participates and monitors the data onboarding process for any new data sources per the Franchise needs.

  • Thorough understanding of different types of data sources and their granularity. Retail, Non-Retail, Patient data, Direct, VA/DOD, chargeback and their implementation for IC

  • Thorough understanding of the Business Rules Repository (BRR) for implementation of crediting and quota modeling business rules

  • Lead team member for monitoring and understanding the Incentive Data Audit process which is conducted quarterly and monthly for the Franchises

  • Perform thorough analysis of Geography level sales data to identify any trend breaks

  • Ensure accurate data inputs, and business rules are being followed, and timelines are met

  • Analyze IC data to resolve business inquiries and identify trends in IC results

  • Manage and investigate inquiries to a successful resolution

  • Respond timely and accurately to field sales inquiries and work closely with sales and marketing teams and all internal departments

  • Perform ad-hoc audits when needed to support specific franchises during periods of high workload

  • Develop communications including Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel files.

Collaboration and Consulting:

  • Partner with cross functional teams-MABI, commercial data management, BTS, and the Franchise vertical teams to provide guidance and support to the Franchise leaders in employing efficient processes for data validation and reporting.

  • Partner with the Field Tools team to provide guidance and insights on any Franchise related data/business questions to support accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • BA, BS degree required. BA/BS required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.

  • 4+ years of experience in Excel, data analysis and interpretation, and Power BI in order to work with large sets of data.

  • Incentive Compensation experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously with sense of urgency.

  • Strong project management, problem-solving, consulting, and analytical skills.

  • Strong customer and operations focus.
