Robert Half Management Resources has a new opportunity with a well-established organization in growth mode. We are currently seeking an experienced Job Cost Accountant familiar with QuickBooks Online to join their friendly and efficient team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in job cost accounting, industrial services industry background and a detailed knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare job cost reports and ongoing financial projections.

• Perform routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements, and financial reports, including P& L statements.

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

• Analyze expenses and provide cost control solutions.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure budgeting and scheduling are on track.

• Meet processing and reporting deadlines.

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and track financial data.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Job Cost Accountant, or similar role.

• Proficient with Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
