About the Role

As Quality Supervisor you will be part of a team consisting of several highly skilled professionals, reporting to the Manager of Operations. The Quality Manager leads the quality management team with the aim of achieving defined product quality goals and further supporting and driving forward the continuous improvement of manufacturing quality in the area of general assembly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the quality organization

  • Setting up the entire quality organization

  • Provide leadership to maximize employee engagement, retention & development (lead by example)

  • Establish quality goals in consultation with the customer and the Manager of Operations, monitor and report on ongoing progress and performance

  • Plan, report and manage resources, quality control, issue management and customer warranty process

  • Execute a defined QM plan and implement best practices

  • Interact with SCM and SQA to resolve quality issues on supplier parts

  • Develop, update and implement a quality strategy derived from the plant strategy

  • Drive quality improvement i nitiatives

  • Main contact to the customer regarding quality and nonconforming products

  • Monitor and ensure that internal and external requirements and policies are met

Who we are looking for

  • Education or university degree with a focus on quality management

  • At least 5 years of quality and leadership experience in manufacturing (automotive industry preferred)

  • Professional experience in quality management

  • Extensive know-how in project, product and operations management

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and QM tools

  • Fluent in English

  • Willingness to travel for training

Your preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes

  • Training in problem solving techniques (Six Sigma, Shainin, etc.)

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic thinking and strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent presentation, communication & leadership skills

  • Professional experience in intercultural teams
