Job Description:

Our client is currently looking for a Production Quality Engineer to ensure adherence to cGMP quality policies, standards, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision and equipment accuracy. The Production Quality Engineer will maintain product integrity, achieving highest quality levels aligned with contractual and company requirements, and providing essential quality assurance support to operations and engineering programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Provide quality assurance support to operations and engineering programs, including designing workmanship criteria for projects.

  • Participate as a team member to ensure on-time shipment of products meeting specifications.

  • Manage non-conforming material reports, engineering change orders, complaints, CAPAs, and assist in personnel training.

  • Conduct quality audits, analyze data for decision-making, and drive quality metrics improvement.

  • Implement Quality Assurance programs and plans to meet contract requirements and product specifications.

  • Recommend methods for evaluating product precision and equipment accuracy, ensuring compliance with reliability and performance standards.

  • Support QMS activities and establish workmanship criteria, emphasizing product quality audits and final QA acceptance.

  • Perform root cause analysis, initiate corrective actions, and collaborate with stakeholders as needed.

  • Analyze statistical data, investigate failures, and implement preventive actions to improve product quality.

  • Address instrumentation malfunctions and modify test equipment to solve technical challenges.

  • Review test methods and procedures based on product specifications and manufacturing processes.

  • Manage qualification and periodic testing, initiate customer reports, and lead corrective actions on defects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with FDA and ISO audit experience is preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude in quality assurance and quality systems, ensuring compliance and high-quality standards.

  • Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with manufacturing partners, suppliers, and customers.

  • Green Belt, Black Belt, or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification desired.
