Responsibilities

• Repairs hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves of all types, sizes, and makes from both mobile and industrial applications. May also be responsible for repair of hydraulic breakers (hammers).

• Most of the work is done on a bench and in house

• Will disassemble and evaluate components for repair

• Experience in accurate measurement with the use of calipers, micrometers, etcA willingness to learn, find solutions, and share knowledge with peers

• Assembly of components

• Testing of components

• Able to read and understand parts sheets, service instructions, etc

• High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate well verbally as well as prepare detailed write-ups accurately and consistently in regard to component evaluations

• services all types of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic and hydrostatic pumps and motors, hydraulic valves, hydraulic hammers, power units, as well as various other types of hydraulic equipment.

The essential functions of this role include:
