Upon completion, apprentices receive a nationally-recognized credential, certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Geomatics Technician (Survey and Mapping)
A land surveyor is a highly trained professional who makes precise measurements to determine property boundaries. They provide data relevant to the shape and contour of the Earth’s surface for engineering, mapmaking and construction projects.As a surveyor, your services are in demand like no other profession. If you are looking to travel the world, work outdoors, and earn money while doing it, then this may be the profession for you!
Overview of the Apprenticeship Program:
You will collect angles and elevations used for construction, map making, or other purposes, using advanced technology and surveying equipment. While in the field, you will learn how to take notes, sketch drawings and read plans. And finally, you will draft in AutoCAD and perform other surveying tasks, such as records research and quality control. We have a safety first culture and you will be required to complete safety and corporate compliance trainings throughout the program.

Must be a recent high school graduate
