Description

Scentsy is looking for aPayroll Administratorto administer and process payroll.

What You Will Do:

  • Administer accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll including time and attendance, obtaining all necessary approvals, labor distribution, and management reporting

  • Run multiple payrolls for both domestic and international entities

  • Ensure accurate processing of payroll including all data entry, verification, file imports, balancing, and reconciliations

  • Ensure legal compliance with payroll laws and remain current with all legislation regarding wage and tax regulations at the international, federal, state, and local level

  • Maintain critical payroll controls to ensure the accuracy of payroll processing

  • Perform account audits and reconciliations and resolve open items

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of garnishments and child support orders

  • Critically review and analyze current payroll, and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operation

  • Identify problems with payroll system and performance and work closely with vendor to resolve these problems

  • Create reports by building and manipulating data in the payroll system

  • Perform all phases of the payroll processing cycle including quarterly tax returns, master payroll balancing, and required governmental reporting

  • Process monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports and tax processing

  • Prepare and issue year-end tax documents and forms for US and International employees and entities

  • Ensure arrival and proper distribution of paychecks

  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2 years of payroll administration experience

  • Experience administering payroll in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom is a plus

  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal payroll laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of international payroll laws and regulations preferred

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner

  • Ability to analyze data and detect trends

  • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action

  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and represent ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships

  • Ability to perform and/or coordinate multiple projects and tasks

  • Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Must be highly detail oriented, accurate, and organized

  • Knowledge of Paylocity or other similar HRIS preferred
