What you'll be challenged to do: TranSystems Hartford office is looking for a Design Services Manager with proven leadership ability and significant experience and demonstrated technical excellence in planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of varied transportation projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Directs engineering assignments: preparation of reports, plans, specifications and analyses. * Plans and develops projects including definition of scope, preparation of schedule and development of budgets. * Tracks project progress and ensures completion within established time frame and budget. * Interacts with personnel throughout the company, subconsultants, clients and contractors. * Provide team leadership. Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a staff of engineers and technicians. * Develops and presents proposals/presentations to clients or in public forums. * Other duties as may be assigned to meet business needs.
