Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Designs products that meet the specifications established by management with optimum manufacturability and minimal risk. Works with Manufacturing to develop methods to take products through the entire manufacturing process. Programs engineering-related software to work with customer inputs for manufacturing purposes. Controls internal and customer-supplied drawings, specifications, and other engineering-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Design products that meet management specifications with optimum manufacturability and minimal risk.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing to develop methods for the entire manufacturing process.

• Program engineering-related software to integrate customer inputs for manufacturing purposes.

• Control internal and customer-supplied drawings, specifications, and other engineering-related documents.

• Assess stress calculations, soundness of design, manufacturability, and risk.

• Troubleshoot installment issues with all manufactured products.

• Understand automation and product configuration.

• Manage projects effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience with SolidWorks for design.

• Ability to assess stress calculations, soundness of design, manufacturability, and risk.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting installment issues with all manufactured products.

• Understanding of automation and product configuration.

• Project management skills.

• Knowledge of SQL, DriveWorks, and Variable Driven.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of five years of experience in engineering or a related field.
