Description We are offering a position for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Mequon, Wisconsin, 53024, United States. This role is in the healthcare industry where you will be required to handle various data entry tasks related to medical information. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input medical data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and EHR SYSTEM.

• Use IBM AS/400 and McKesson software to manage, store, and retrieve medical data.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present data in a clear and comprehensible manner.

• Handle billing functions, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and up-to-date.

• Administer claims, ensuring all procedures are followed and all information is accurately recorded.

• Deliver excellent customer service, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and complaints.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

• Prepare documentation related to medical data, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in using the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400

• Familiarity with McKesson

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle billing functions

• Experience in claim administration

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proficiency in data entry

• Experience in documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Familiarity with medical terminologies

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills.
