STERIS CORPORATION Senior Software Developer (Multiple Positions) in Mentor, Ohio
STERIS Corporation seeks multiple Senior Software Developer's (Multiple Positions) who will be responsible for high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within the mature technology and leading edge technology environments. Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques and contribute to the technical code documentation. Design and Implement technology solutions for applications, interfaces and data conversions. Reviews the Software Change Requests and evaluate the solutions. Perform unit and system testing. Participate in project planning sessions with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Technical Analysts and development team members to analyze business and technology requirements and outline the proposed technology solution. Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations. Adhere to technology control policies throughout design, development and testing. Perform unit, system and integration testing and participate in capacity and performance testing of an application. Identify and document ongoing maintenance requirements. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Perform system integration testing and analyze/report the results to pertinent teams. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues (provide 3rd level production support/issue resolution). Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field of study and five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Applicants must also have demonstrated with: Oracle Financials. Siebel or data warehousing; Understanding of at least one applicable programming language (SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX or Skill Scripting) and design technique; Version and revision control practices and procedures; Design and programming techniques that provide security; and Oracle Applications -- SQL, PL/SQL, Development tools, OA framework, workflows or Application object library.
