OhioMeansJobs Lake County is assisting a Mentor based construction company with their recruiting efforts for the following position: Roof Technician Location: Mentor, OH Position ID: 44072994 Job Type: Part-Time, 15-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday Shift: 1st, 7:00AM-4:00PM Wage: $15.00-$25.00 an hour Benefits: Education Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation Position Description:
- A roofing technician works to ensure structural integrity on a building and ensures the safety of those who come in. They repair, replace or install roofs in commercial businesses and even residential buildings. They inspect roofs to ensure there are no leaks or any damages that might cause damages in the future. Their duties and responsibilities include pre-inspecting roofs and building tops to determine the materials required and determine possible points that might cause damage.
- Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs.
- Conducting general inspections/scope of work for potential repairs/replacements.
- Identify, locate, document and advise on roof system deficiencies and issues.
- Install service & perform approved repairs as requested.
