Industrial Staffing Services Maintenance Technician in Mentor, Ohio

2nd shift 2:30PM-11:30PM M-F Responsible to maintain equipment, as well as, the facilities in support of continuous operation while adhering to safety standards. Will be operating various hand tools and equipment. Responsibilities Performs routine and maintenance on equipment and facilities. Completes preventive maintenance documentation Performs safety check of work area and equipment being utilized. Performs visual and dimensional inspection of dies and assigns location Responds to requests for general repairs, setup of equipment, fixturing and die maintenance. Examines equipment and facilities to determine working condition and necessary maintenance to prevent works stoppages. Refers to technical manuals in the repair of equipment. Performs electrical work as permitted per nationally recognized safety guidelines. Performs peer verification of lockout procedures during annual safety training. Utilizes hand tools and equipment in the execution of assigned duties. Initiates, recommends and/or provides solutions to address issues via appropriate channels. Follows all process requirements to include policies, guidelines and work instructions.
