*Deburring Technician *Location: Mentor, OH Position ID: 44073059
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Hours: 1^st^ Shift Wage: $18.00 Benefits: Health, Dental, Vacation, Paid Holidays, Retirement
*Position Summary: *Remove excess metal, blemishes and/or burrs from product using a variety of hand tools and equipment according to the job traveler, blueprint, or part specific work instruction.
*Duties and Responsibilities: *
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | · 2 years of experience | | | | · Self-motivation skills and ability to pay close attention to | | detail. | | | | · Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. | | | | · Ability to use hand tools. | | | | · High School Diploma | | | | | | | | Preferred Skills: | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | · Proven experience in deburring product. | | | | · Good understanding of quality control principles. | | | | · Good communication skills (verbal and written). | | | | | | | | *Visual Acuity: * | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Near acuity and accommodation is required for reading blueprints, | | Inspection equipment and visual inspection of parts. | | | | | | | | *Working Conditions: * | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | The employee is subject to: High noise levels from operating | | machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, | | breathing fumes, dust and mist.
