Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Shift: 1^st^- 7:00am-3:30PM Wage: $23.00-$26.00 an hour Benefits: Health, Dental Insurance, Vacation
Overview: Seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC lathes and will be responsible for producing precision components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Conduct materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and organization of raw material and finished product.
- Use micrometers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of machined parts.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with factory safety standards.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, specifically lathes.
- Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs.
- Understanding of GD&T principles for accurate measurements.
- Experience with FANUC controllers for machine operation.
- Experience with conversational programming is a plus.
- Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
