UW - STOUT Multicultural Student Services Director in MENOMONIE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 21491 JOB DETAILS: Reporting to the Director of Multicultural Student Services (MSS), the Assistant Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, services, and initiatives aimed at promoting student access, retention, and success. This role will focus on supporting students engaged with the MSS office and participants in the Stoutward Bound Program (SWB). The Assistant Director will lead the strategic planning for the Stoutward Bound early-bridge program in close collaboration with Admissions, First Year Registration and Orientation, SWB stakeholders, and university partners to ensure alignment with program goals, objectives, and student success initiatives. SWB is designed to provide students with a supportive environment committed to preparing them for success and their transition from high school to college. UW Official Title and Job Description: Student Affairs Manager AE193 RESPONSIBILITIES *Work closely with Director to advance college priorities for improved student access and retention. *Maintain a caseload of students and provide advisement and support to students in the areas of college transition, academic support, career counseling, financial literacy, graduate education, etc. *Manage support and retention services to high and early support students (academic probation, academic dismissal, early alert). *Promote the academic success of students by offering distinctive programs and activities that introduce students to a community of networks and teach students how to navigate and/or negotiate processes within the institution.
