FTE: 0.80 Shift: Shift 1 OR Lead Radiologic Technologist 1st shift with varied start and end times. 8 hour shifts Monday thru Friday with a holiday and call responsibilities Job Summary: Responsible for daily operations in the Radiology department assigning work responsibilities and insuring staffing is appropriate. Provides guidance and technical assistance, monitors adherence to guidelines and regulations for record keeping and quality control, and interacts effectively with imaging and medical/clinical staff, patients and other customers. Provides constructive direction and support to Imaging staff and leadership. Exemplifies organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Performs all duties outlined in the Radiologic Technologist job description. Performs other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of three (3) years of current clinical experience is required. OR Experience is strongly preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Strong leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize and organize work flow and strong problem solving skills with self-motivation.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
