Job Title: Brake Press Operator

Job Description

• Set up and operate: Prepares, sets up, and adjusts the press brake to meet production schedules and product plans

• Read blueprints: Understands detailed blueprints to identify the correct dimensions of the finished product

• Align materials: Measures and aligns materials before working on them

• Inspect products: Evaluates finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects

• Maintain equipment: Performs routine maintenance on the press brake to ensure it's working well and fully functional

• Monitor supply levels: Ensures there are enough raw materials available

• Keep work area clean: Maintains a clean and organized work area

• Make adjustments: Makes adjustments to the press brake to control the speed, material feed, and path of the bend or shape

• Use hand tools: Uses hand tools like chisels and hammers to remove imperfections in the metal

• Use computerized controls: Uses computerized controls like foot pedals and hand cranks to control the pressure and speed applied to the material

This is a fully on-site position in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
