JOB REQUIREMENTS: You may know The Salvation Army for our red kettles, our angel trees, and our strong presence during the Christmas season, but we support local families every season. The donations we collect during the Christmas season not only help us provide gifts to children who would otherwise go without but also help us provide food, shelter, and utility assistance to those who need it most. This is a seasonal temporary position starting October 28th and ending December 13, 2024. This position is 20 hours a week Monday-Friday from 8am-noon. The receptionist will be the initial contact for persons seeking assistance as well as directing visitors, accepting donations, pulling files and computer data entry. About the role: Have a basic knowledge base of SA program services and requirements as well as other community resources and answer related questions; Pull program files and provide proper forms for individuals seeking assistance; Be familiar and follow procedures required for assisting clients seeking services; Timely and accurate data entry; Coordinate donations received at front desk as well as schedule pickup times for donations via phone calls; Will require moving and lifting of donated items as needed; Other duties as needed to meet the Salvation Army mission in the Fox Cities. Education: High School diploma or equivalent at a minimum Experience: Previous experience in this field recommended The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
