Minimum Qualifications Five years experience in the following:• Develop user-friendly SharePoint features customizations with HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript, .NET Framework• Develop and integrate with REST APIs using jQuery• Test and Debug SharePoint application and customizationsThe following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: - Associate’s degree and four years of experience- Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience- Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience- Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience
Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4, SG- 25, within the Labor, Workforce and Education Portfolio (LWE), Business Solutions Burau, under the Chief Technology Office, supporting the Department of Labor (DOL) the Project Assistants, SG-NS, will function as a lead developer responsible for all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle for systems supporting DOL business needs and applications. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:-Providing operational and technical support for the SharePoint environment;-Developing new user-friendly features, using highly functional UI/UX design processes-Developing SharePoint customizations with HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript, .NET Framework-Building and managing large document libraries-Developing and integrating with REST APIs using jQuery-Testing and Debugging SharePoint application and customizations-Performing all supervisory responsibilities and ability to mentor and facilitate the personal growth of subordinates
