Robert Half Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer in Memphis, Tennessee
Description
We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves managing daily cash operations for a large-scale organization, ensuring adequate liquidity, and assisting in monitoring funding and liquidity risk. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing liquidity position, and maintaining treasury policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily cash operations ensuring all liquidity requirements are met.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly treasury reports.
• Analyze key metrics and perform ratio analysis to inform financial management decisions.
• Initiate transfers or deposits in response to funding needs and manage the cash process.
• Advise management on liquidity position based on detailed analysis.
• Document and update treasury policies and procedures as required.
• Assist in monitoring funding and liquidity risk and overall asset/liability management issues.
• Support preparation for monthly and quarterly Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) reports.
• Provide general technical and operations support, initiating, receiving, researching, and resolving routine and some non-routine inquiries.
• Develop analytics resources and support the information culture within the organization.
Requirements
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of treasury.
• Must have a strong understanding of accounting functions and account reconciliation.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Ability to analyze financial statements effectively and efficiently.
• Should have experience in auditing and cash management.
• Familiarity with treasury function is crucial.
• Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification such as a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is preferred.
