ABOUT THE ROLE:

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process allograft tissue that is used for surgical implantation.

• Use aseptic technique, machinery, instrumentation, and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape and package implantable grafts that meets specification.

• Accurately complete paperwork and perform data entry where required.

• Perform scheduled cleaning of clean rooms per SOP.

• Perform lab support functions such as, set-up and breakdown of clean rooms, in some cases, properly clean instruments per SOP and handling of donor tissues.

• Prepare grafts to be sent for sterilization and received them back in with required paperwork.

• Sends out sample grafts for testing.

• Provides support to the Processing Team.

• Provides support to the Processing Supervisor and Operations Manager as needed.

• Performs any other related duties as required.

ABOUT YOU:

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree of science preferred and/or Surgical Technologist / Sterile Processing Certification.

• Experience: Knowledge of sterile technique. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
