AutoZone, Inc. Recruiter, Supply Chain in Memphis, Tennessee

The Supply Chain Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of high volume full life-cycle recruiting and talent attraction for AutoZone’s domestic distribution centers to include exempt, non exempt and hourly positions. The Supply Chain Recruiter is responsible for development and implementation of recruitment strategies including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, onboarding, and recommendations on diverse recruiting sources. Will also implement a variety of recruiting methods including advertising, community networking, and creative development of diverse recruiting sources. Maintains relationships with organizational management to assure adequate staffing plan and standards are implemented.

• Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.

• Builds relationships with both operations and human resources leadership to develop and execute recruiting plan.

• Ensures alignment of recruiting activities with business goals and hiring objectives

• Recruits applicants in a timely and cost-efficient manner; develops and implements processes necessary for effective selection, including the identification of skills, knowledge and abilities required for the position

• Conducts phone and onsite interviews using behavior interview techniques and selection methods to identify qualified applicant pools for targeted positions.

• Participates in special projects as relate to improved applicant processing, resourcing, and reporting systems.

• Ability to partner with local employment entities to facilitate large-scale recruitment events.

• Be familiar with current regulatory compliance and laws regarding employment practices.

• Host on-site interviews, job fairs and informational sessions

• Responsible for filling a minimum number of new hires on a weekly and monthly basis.

• Complete timely reports on employment activity

• Assist with the management of recruitment vendor contracts.

• Work in a Safety Sensitive environment

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience recruiting in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment.

• Experience with managing requisitions within an applicant tracking system.

• 20% travel required.

PREFERRED:

• 3-5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in a high volume recruiting environment with CDL Drivers and/or distribution center recruitment experience

• SHRM or AIRS Recruiting Certifications
