Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves managing all aspects of accounting, from processing financial information to preparing monthly bank reconciliations and financial statements. The successful candidate will be skilled in using QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Excel, and Office 365 Products, and will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing of financial information

• Reconcile entries and accounts daily

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and financial statements

• Review and correct any errors in profit and loss statements

• Assist with bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll and record payroll journal entries

• Assist with the preparation of Annual Reports and Personal Property Tax Schedules

• Assist with Annual Worker's Compensation Audits

• Set up vendors for 1099 processing and assist with 1099s prior to issuance at year-end

• Maintain confidentiality and data security in all methods of communication

• Assist with accounts payable as needed

• Perform any other duties that may be necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.

• Demonstrated ability to perform various Accounting Functions.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Skills in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience in handling Billing Functions.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting and managing Accruals.

• Ability to work independently and with a team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
