Job Summary

Perform routine and extensive maintenance projects and tasks involving the maintenance, repair, installation and overhaul of facility, utility, and support equipment. Assist supervisor and train Facilities Technicians to perform their duties in a more proficient manner. Align duties to the Operating business unit to maintain equipment and support systems in validated, safe, and compliant states.

  • Assign general, preventative, and corrective work orders to the Facilities Maintenance Team and distribute the work

  • Own the manufacturing equipment maintenance by ensuring that the preventive and work Order activities have been perform per SOP and assigned requirements.

  • Provide support with deviation investigation to determine assignable root cause.

  • Assist and backfill for department supervisor when requested.

  • Monitor the site Building Management system for any alarm and act on the alarm.

  • Write, issue, and close work orders and preventive maintenance orders (PMs).

  • Coordinate and manage maintenance projects.

  • Mentor peers regarding facility troubleshooting or equipment issues.

  • Write purchase requests and obtain competitive bids on jobs performed by tradespersons.

  • Work with and provide direction to Facilities Technicians when requested.

  • Work with the EHS department to assist in maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair facility, utility, and support equipment.

  • Complete and document all corrective and routine preventive maintenance and scheduled performance evaluations for assigned equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, filter changes, and safety equipment checks as per company guidelines.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician

  • Prior CDMO experience is highly desired

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Project

  • Ability to read and write in English clearly and operate computer effectively.

  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented production or manufacturing environment including exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills with your teammates

  • Ability and willingness to maintain a safe and collaborative work environment

  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
