Aerotek is hiring a Welder/Fabricator

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6a-4:30p. Friday 6a-3:30p. Saturday 6a-11a (working most Saturdays)

Pay: $24-$27

Job Description

This fabrication position requires reading detailed, in-depth blueprints and schematics, collecting necessary parts as per work orders or cut sheets, and fabricating from raw steel. You will be working on creating auto manufacturer conveyor tracks, fabricating steel tracks using metric measurements. Note that measurements are based on a circular model, with all measurements taken from a center line. This position requires a solid understanding of radius and simple geometry.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in MEMPHIS, Tennessee.

Work Environment

Non-temperature controlled warehouse environment. You will handle large steel pieces and perform MIG welding, so you will need your own welding helmet and steel-toed boots.
