Aerotek is hiring CNC Machinist

Pay: $18 to $28

Shift: 2nd shift 4pm - 12:30 am M-F and some Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate precision parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control standards are met

• Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances

• Handle materials and perform material handling tasks as needed

• Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and tooling

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in the warehouse

Essential Skills

• Previous experience operating CNC machines

• Knowledge of using G&M codes

• Experience with CNC Mills and CNC lathes

• Blueprint reading and interpretation

• Programming experience with CNC machines

• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures

• Strong attention to detail

• Good manual dexterity for using hand tools and tooling

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to use software to edit CNC programs

• Experience with troubleshooting and machine operation

• Knowledge of grinding, lathe, and mill machining

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00
