Summary:

The ARP Supervisor is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and management of the ARP team. The ARP team supports Account Reconciliation, Positive Pay, CD ROM and Statement Rendering.

The Supervisor is charged with managing the ARP teams located in Memphis TN, along with remote staff. ARP Supervisor will be responsible for multiple shifts starting at 4 a.m. until 5 p.m. Central time Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable customer service skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain poise under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises subordinate staff including hiring recommendations; determining workload and delegating assignments; training, monitoring and evaluating performance; and initiating coaching, corrective and disciplinary actions to include terminations.

  • Establishes and refines processes as necessary to promote optimum efficiency and ensure desired production standards are achieved.

  • Establishes and maintains a work environment that is motivational and participative; promotes an environment that supports diversity and First-power culture.

  • Ensure that appropriate staffing is always maintained to provide high quality customer service levels.

  • Regularly monitor the efficiencies of production standards.

  • Ensure that regulatory compliance standards are met.

  • Responsible for controlling operational and administrative expenses.

  • Responsible for resolving all customer service problems.

  • Exercises a wide range of decision-making control when presented with multi-faceted factors; identifies, resolves, and escalates problems in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Maintains a commitment to continuous learning, developing knowledge and skills to execute job duties competently and efficiently.

  • Leads with a collaborative work style.

  • Interacts professionally with both executives and peers across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 5 years bank operations experience or Financial Center/Branch experience

  • 5 years prior leadership experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given

  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills

  • High School diploma required; degree preferred or equivalent experience/working knowledge of banking/operations
