A reach truck operator is responsible for operating a type of forklift known as a reach truck, which is designed to operate in narrow aisles and extend its forks forward to reach pallets stored at height. These trucks are typically used in warehouses, distribution centers, and storage facilities. Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.

• Move goods to and from storage areas, racks, and production areas safely and efficiently.

• Stack and store materials in designated areas following proper procedures and safety guidelines.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure reach truck is in safe operating condition and report any issues or malfunctions.

• Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment based on work orders or instructions.

• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring all materials are properly labeled and documented.

• Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as order picking, packing, and inventory counts, as needed.

• Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
