Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Controller. The primary role will be to oversee financial statements preparation, audit support, staff oversight, and provide hands-on monthly close experience. This position will require expertise in the use of Accounting Software Systems, especially Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities: • Prepare financial statements in an organized and timely manner. • Provide hands-on support during the monthly close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date. • Actively participate in audit procedures and provide necessary support to ensure smooth completion. • Oversee staff operations and provide necessary guidance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems such as Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure all finances are managed accurately. • Conduct month-end close procedures to ensure all financial data is accounted for and reported accurately. • Leverage skills in Financial Statement Preparation to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial reports. • Support the annual external audit process by preparing necessary documents and coordinating with auditors. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial analyses and reports. Requirements • Proficiency in the use of Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in executing Month End Close procedures

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements accurately and efficiently

• Experience in coordinating Annual External Audits

• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct for accounting purposes

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is preferred

• Proven experience in a controller role or similar position.
