Robert Half Staff Accountant in Melbourne, Florida

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Melbourne, Florida, United States. This role is within the insurance industry and will require the successful candidate to bring their experience and skills to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded

• Prepare and post regular Journal Entries for financial transactions

• Conduct Month End Close procedures in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilise NetSuite software to manage financial data and processes. Requirements • Relevant work experience as a Staff Accountant for a minimum of 3 years

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger management

• Capability to make accurate Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close process

• Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks
