Actalent Entry Level Electrical Engineer in Melbourne, Florida

Job Title: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Industry: Defense/Aerospace must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.

  • Work on FPGA projects, with a strong preference for experience with Xilinx and Verilog.

  • Create and review schematic designs and layouts.

  • Utilize Orcad for schematic capture and PCB layout.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

  • Assist in the development and testing of communication systems, including fiber optics.

  • Write and debug code in C for various applications.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 0-2 years of experience as an electrical engineer

  • Project experience with FPGA (Xilinx and Verilog strongly preferred).

  • Proficiency in schematic design and layout.

  • Experience with Orcad.

  • Knowledge of communications or fiber optics.

  • Proficiency in C programming.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
