Paramedic (1673342) \$51,000 - 62,000 per year Medford, OR Direct Hire; Full Time Job Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Short-term disability, Employee Assistance Program, 401k retirement plan with 5% Employer contribution after 6 months of employment, & Employer-paid Flex Dollars paid bi-weekly Duties: Administer competent/compassionate basic & advanced life support care on emergent & non-emergent ambulance calls, within the scope of a licensed Paramedic Respond to all dispatched ambulance calls, maintain professional radio comms, & ensure safe transport of patients Provide a safe environment through appropriate use of PPE Assist with daily cleaning & restocking of ambulances; report damaged/out of service equipment Follows proper cleaning & disinfecting guidelines for contaminated equipment/supplies & disposal Complete electronic Patient Care Reports in a timely manner & in accordance to the law Protect patient information privacy per company policy, as required by law, & the general principles of a health care provider Other duties as assigned. Skills: Paramedicine Associate Degree or equivalent education & experience req\'d to obtain Oregon Paramedic license Recent Paramedic exp. on a 911 transporting ambulance preferred Oregon Paramedic License or ability to obtain prov. OR Paramedic License Nationally Registered Paramedic cert or must provide proof of continuing education matching standards & requirements at recert. times. BLS, ACLS, & PALS or PEPP certifications. Req\'d to obtain within 18 months of start Must pass Drug Test & Background Check Must be at least 21 years old & meet driving record reqs to comply with company\'s insurance; Valid OR Driver\'s License or ability to obtain upon hire Must pass a pre-employment & annual Paramedic physical exam & functional testing as a condition of continuing employment. Ability to provide compassionate patient care, use good judgment & remain calm in high-stress situations Ability to communicate verbally via radio & phone; interpret written, oral, & diagnostic forms instructions; delegate & lead EMT partners in completing tasks.
