Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP& A) Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial modeling and analysis support, driving business strategy, and enhancing the company's financial planning processes. This role requires a strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the financial and operational budgeting and forecasting processes.
Maintain and enhance comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. This may include creating models for revenue growth projections, cash flow analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
Support the modeling and review of financial covenant calculations.
Conduct detailed analysis of financial results and provide insights for executive leadership.
Prepare board reports, including executive summaries with concise financial analysis and insights.
Monitor and track financial performance, analyzing variances and trends.
Work closely with operations to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial management.
Work in concert with accounting to ensure budgets and forecasts are being maintained and updated.
Utilize business intelligence systems to create product line specific dashboards and reports for financial analysis.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
Strong proficiency in Power BI and other financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with operations and other departments.
Experience in preparing cash flow statements and analyzing financial covenants.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.
