Horizon Farm Credit Executive Assistant in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Overview - Horizon Farm Credit is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate is preferred to work in either our Westminster, MD, or Mechanicsburg, PA branch locations. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment, allowing for 3 days of remote work and 2 days in the office.

Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented, and analytical professional with a passion for supporting the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors, and the entire Association's success. Typical hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Position Description - In this role, you will perform various strategic, collaborative support functions and administrative tasks to aid the Corporate Services team, the Executive Leadership team, the Board of Directors, and other internal committees and departments across the Association.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide support to members of the Association's Executive Leadership team, including calendar and task management, expense tracking and recording, travel arrangements, meeting planning and execution, maintaining records and resources, and preparing materials (presentations, reports, and communications) for both internal and external audiences.
  • Offer administrative and logistical support to the Association's Board of Directors for meetings, training, travel, materials and presentations, and expense reporting and tracking.
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Services department, other Association departments, internal committees, and workgroups, and the Board of Directors as assigned.
  • Assist with planning and executing corporate events as needed.
  • Manage and administer the Association's auto fleet program including acquisition and disposition of vehicles, fuel cards, maintenance invoices, and Driver/Enterprise primary contact

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Generally, five or more years of professional administrative experience with at least two years in an executive support role is preferred.
  • Ability to initiate, organize, and prioritize work and maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, and required formats to recognize and correct correspondence and reports).
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects/assignments.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capability.
  • Forward-thinking and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Adaptable and flexible to a changing fast-paced work environment.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is required.
  • Ability to work branch hours of operation (typically Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Salary range: $53,900 -$66,300 depending on experience.
