Mikado Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar Inc. is the first Japanese Hibachi in Mechanicsburg, PA serving the best-grilled meats in town.  We have Japanese-style Hibachi, Sushi, Korean grill meats, and hot pots.  We are a full-service restaurant that has been serving our communities for over 25 years.   Job Details: • Have knowledge of preparing Japanese cuisine. Such as, hibachi, tempura, teriyaki, and katsu. • Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes. • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes • Set up the proper amount of product to ensure a smooth working line • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients • Must be able to execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, and quality and adhere to food safety practices. • Must be comfortable interacting with both staff and guests in a friendly and helpful manner. • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Assist with the care of floors in the kitchen by sweeping and/or mopping at a time when food is not being prepared or served. • Ability to reasonably conform to all rules and policies in the kitchen.
