Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an expansive team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves handling customer invoices, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries in a proactive manner. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Coding Invoices, and Invoice Entry.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Address customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action

• Categorize and organize emails received in various AP Scan Room mailboxes

• Rename emails for easy retrieval and saving of invoices

• Code invoices with company/location numbers on a daily basis

• Batch PDF’s for efficient invoice processing through the Markview invoice import process

• Independently work batches in Kofax suspended queue

• Assist with paper mail processing as needed for all divisions

• Resolve problem invoices through the daily resolution of the Markview problem queue

Requirements

• Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Coding Invoices is required

• Experience with Invoice Entry is essential

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary

• Adept at problem-solving and resolving discrepancies
