Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

This position requires proficiency in receiving, sorting, staging, replenishment, put away, picking/packing, cycle counting, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Determine daily work schedule via work board instructions and supervisor direction.

• Perform equipment inspections and complete documentation before operating equipment.

• Unload shipments from trucks using a forklift or pallet jack; read labels and confirm order quantities.

• Perform a 3-way match to validate product part numbers and quantities received.

Essential Skills

• Accurate counting and math skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques.

• Experience with warehouse management systems.

• Ability to adhere to quality standards and procedures.

• Ability to read and understand information presented.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment.

• Ability to lift and move heavy or bulky items weighing 50 pounds or more.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to perform with superior service and maintain a positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of warehouse experience.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems required.

• SAP Receiving experience required.

• Cycle counting experience required.

• Certification in material handling equipment required.

• 5S experience preferred.

• Lean experience preferred.
