Adecco Medical Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Nurse to join our dynamic team, where compassionate care meets professional growth. Pay and Benefits:

Competitive pay rates ($40-65/hr.) under a union contract, with generous shift differentials (Pay is based on experience)

Nights: $6.50

Weekends: $2.00 extra for both day and night shifts

Qualifications :

• RN license unencumbered in the state of OR

• Experience working in Med/Surg is preferred but not required

• Obtain BLS certification within three months of hire and maintain as current.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics.

• Documents thoroughly, following regulatory and hospital requirements.

• Participates in the responsible management of health care resources.

• Assumes responsibility for clinical competency and professional development.

• Practices in a clinical environment through application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills

• Ability to work varied shifts and/or days

• Actively participates in patient care and patient satisfaction process improvement projects and initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be able to utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

• Must be able to work in a busy and stressful environment

• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Electronic medical records software

• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize

• Interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills

• Creativity, problem analysis and decision making

Pay Details: $40.00 to $65.00 per hour
