To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Established relationships and contacts: Your network extends into the hospitality, retail and developer markets, backed by proven business relationships and/or development expertise.

  • Exceptional leadership qualities: You're an empathetic and attentive listener, genuinely interested in people, with the ability to build strong connections among teammates and clients, offering motivation and support.

  • Outstanding communication skills: Whether you're speaking or writing, your ideas are clear, and your problem-solving skills shine through.

  • A passion for nurturing talent: Your team feels your genuine concern for their growth and development; you're invested in their careers and always ready with resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Professional Registration or Certification in your discipline (e.g., AIA or NCIDQ).

  • 10 years of experience in the architecture and design industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Extensive experience in all aspects of retail, with a preference for national, multi-unit rollout/program retail, and a strong work ethic.

  • Experience as an account or client/project manager, responsible for the financial management of an account or body of work.
