We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in McLean, Virginia. As a part of our team, you will primarily focus on regulatory compliance and telecommunications law within the telecom industry. This role involves overseeing the management of telecommunications assets, handling regulatory submissions and filings, managing schedules for mergers and acquisitions, and monitoring legislative and regulatory changes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of telecommunications assets

• Handle all regulatory submissions and filings related to broadband and voice technology

• Manage schedules for mergers and acquisitions, including license renewals and modifications

• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes at the state level and from FTC, FCC, SEC, CFPB

• Utilise skills in Telecom, Telecommunication Law, Legal Regulatory, Regulatory Law, and Regulatory Research to efficiently perform tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements • Must have a degree in Law from a recognized institution

• Should hold a valid license to practice law

• Demonstrable experience in Telecom and Telecommunication Law is required

• Proficiency in Legal Regulatory and Regulatory Law is mandatory

• Ability to conduct comprehensive Regulatory Research is essential

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills are necessary

• Must be able to provide sound legal advice and strategy

• High level of integrity and professional ethics is required

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

• Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information

• Excellent drafting and document creation skills are necessary

• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must have a strong understanding of legal procedures

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
