Requisition Summary
This position will be responsible for assuring that all Dynacraft standards are maintained throughout all operations. Unit Managers are tasked with upholding and encouraging PACCAR and Dynacraft values and mission and assuring that all Dynacraft standards are maintained throughout all operations. These include but are not limited to Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Process and Procedural standards. This role is based in McKinney, Texas, for the evening shift.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
Conduct and document safety incident investigations, root cause, and follow-up actions.
Participate in projects related to recruitment, training, and leadership development.
Set daily order of operations for responsible areas and track and report progress and /or actions to accomplish goals.
Work with your team and MSS to ensure material availability for production.
Process scrap and damaged material through the MRB process.
Work with your team to ensure efficient and timely completion of production orders and JITS processing through SAP.
Identify areas of opportunity for process development and deploy action plans to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
Work with Process Engineers and Team Leads to ensure associates are trained on least on three functions within your area of responsibility.
Ensure time and attendance is accurate for your associates. Ensure all errors are corrected within 24 hours and direct/indirect labor is properly clocked.
Spend at least 75% of time on the floor in your area of responsibility.
Complete root cause analysis for quality related issues and process/safety audit findings.
Manage the deployment of shop floor team members.
Evaluate team members on performance. Provide regular feedback; prepare employee evaluations; recommend disciplinary action as may be appropriate.
Ensure your team members are properly trained on assigned tasks.
Communicate with other departments as required on plant related issues and follow-up tasks.
Recognize team members for outstanding performance.

Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. Qualifications
Ability to supervise, make decisions, and use independent judgment and/or action.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint,
Understanding of Six Sigma Minitab software is a plus.
A minimum of two-years production/distribution supervisory experience is required.
Education
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
