The Sr. Security Analyst, ACPSO will perform actions and tasking as assigned in the development, administration and adherence to security policies and procedures for Special Access Programs in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and ICD-705. Your experience working directly within software development areas such as a data transfer agent or media custodian and/or within a factory environment supporting hardware transfers, and secure will be pivotal to your success. You may be required to travel up to 10% of your time and a valid driver’s license would be necessary as this position may involve the escorting of individuals across business locations. Please note the current, final Secret clearance must have an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment or must be actively enrolled in continues evaluation.

What You Will Do

• Support the team in administering the security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705, DAAPM, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, data transfer agent support, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified.

• Support the implementation of local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.

• Understand and utilize the media control program in accordance with USG requirements.

• Support Data Transfers and or hardware transfers.

• Maintain a secure facility in accordance with (IAW) ICD-705.

• Execute specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.

• Maintain a visitor control program.

• Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.

• Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).

• Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of cybersecurity requirements. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior security experience OR an Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of prior experience.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualification We Value:

• Previous direct experience as a security professional supporting SAP and/or SCI programs.

• Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and/or ICD 705.

• Demonstrated experience working with access control systems, integrated defense systems, government personnel access systems.

• Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.

• Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, SPO, SSM, CSM, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
