What You Will Do
Place subcontracts/purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements
Support supplier development activities for mechanical suppliers (hardware/mechanical items)
Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy for production hardware and build to print mechanical parts
Prepare, issue, and analyze RFPs
Perform price/cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and PO placement
Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions)
Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc) to achieve objectives including financial goals
Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for programs
Coordinate meetings between suppliers and internal customers
Support occasional program travel needs to visit suppliers as needed
This will be an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree in related field OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field
SAP based environment experience
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware
Experience with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)
Assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
Experience with single source, over-TINA procurements

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior
relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
