This position is for the Zumwalt program as the Spares analyst. Zumwalt programs are within the Surface & Combat Systems (SCS) portfolio and the Naval Power mission area. You will support the management of cost control, financial forecasting and over-all financial execution of the program. You will also have the chance to support proposal and capture opportunities. This role will work closely with AS&M program leadership, a 5-option year contract with a value of $1.7B.

You will participate in and/or lead quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), monthly internal Earned Value Management (EVM). And other financial control activities.

This role is a key contributor of the Zumwalt Finance Team and will work across a matrixed organization to effectively analyze and message financial results. You will have increased exposure to multiple facets of the SCS & NSS finance organization, and Program and Functional leadership teams.

This position is currently designated as Onsite. However, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations, Portsmouth RI, McKinney TX, El Segundo, CA, Marlborough MA, Lafayette CO, Dulles VA, Largo FL, or Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do

  • Serve and support the Zumwalt programs as a Finance analyst, with responsibility for program controls, customer financial / funding reporting, quarterly EACs, internal financial performance reporting, financial forecast (including AOP and LRP), and workforce planning.

  • Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications.

  • Top candidates with provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program and project decision making. They will also have the ability to participate in special projects for the Raytheon NSS business.

Qualification You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience..

  • Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module & Business Warehouse or similar systems

  • Experience with program financials and/or financial metrics.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.

  • Prior experience in Program Cost Schedule and Control, financial planning, or similar role.

  • Experience with DoD contract financing and billing.

  • R6Sigma / CORE Specialist or familiarity with Six Sigma / CORE processes.

  • Proficient with APEX/SAP EV, APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module, RPlan & Business Warehouse.

  • Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.

  • Self-starter highly motivated with a positive "can do" attitude.

  • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience presenting to leadership and peers.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities.

  • This position is grade P2, Senior Financial Analyst, Program Cost Control.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
