Job Summary:

Leads the Depot transformation team with responsibility for deploying CORE across our operational and business domains. This team maintains expertise to deploy and assess CORE maturity and lead key engagements including lean leadership weeks to drive continuous improvement. This includes developing breakthrough methods and tools in the areas of operational performance management & reporting, integration of industry 4.0 projects, and digital product lifecycle integration.

Leads the Depot strategy for defining and implementing the long-term footprint and capability strategy roadmap, drive new product introduction projects. This includes developing business cases, obtaining funding authorization and project management of key transformation and footprint projects.

This position requires daily onsite presence at a Raytheon facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the long-term product & portfolio strategy for Depot to align repair capabilities and sourcing strategy to the product lifecycle and long-term customer support.

  • Develops long-range objectives and conducts strategy analysis in support of the business’s site and senior leadership

  • Identify operation site opportunities and threats and gain alignment

  • Identifies internal and external strategic issues that could affect growth and profitability

  • Leads macro-level assessments across the Depot network

  • Supports the identification of revenue and technology synergies across the site and supports their implementation as needed

  • Develops senior leadership briefings

  • Lead the NPI / work transition organization to win and execute transitions on time and on cost

  • Lead and manage the site core non-core analysis

  • Defines, designs, and deploys CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) Operating System strategy throughout the business

  • Manages business processes and/or business process improvement methodologies to support Business efforts to deliver world-class performance solutions for our customers.

  • Trains and develops change leaders to deliver world-class performance leaders for the Business and empowers all employees to drive process improvements every day

  • Develops and manages programs and procedural changes to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods to ensure that business objectives in the areas of cost, operational performance, and quality are met

  • Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally, as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
