UPMC Program Assistant Supervisor (Lysle Home Place) in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania
UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Mon Yough is hiring for a Program Assistant Supervisor ! In this role, you will oversee and support nine employees who care for thirteen clients at Lysle Home Place, a long-term mental health personal care home. In addition to supervision duties, transporting clients to and from local appointments and attending off site trainings will be required.
As an ideal candidate, you must have at least one year of experience in behavioral health or mental health related care. Your background preferably will include experience with crisis intervention, knowledge of theories, principals and techniques related to mental health services as well as familiarity with Microsoft office products.
This is a primarily daylight role, Monday through Friday, with on call rotation every eight weeks. In some cases, availably to work evenings or overnights may be required to ensure client care and program needs are met. Parking is provided on site at no cost. The dress code is flexible, ranging from casual to business casual.
Responsibilities:
Program and Consumer Support:
Assist and educate direct reports.
Support consumer goals and individualized plans.
Plan and conduct therapeutic activities/groups.
Assist with transporting consumers and direct care responsibilities.
Administrative Duties:
Review and manage program budget.
Help with reports, payroll and on-call duties.
Complete necessary document for referrals, admissions, discharges, etc.
Maintain employee training records and assist with hiring/onboarding.
Help with licensing visits and monitor consumer records for regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and adjust staff schedules for 24/7 coverage.
Bachelor's degree AND (1) one-year related experience.
Will consider any equivalent combination of experience and training as approved by regulatory bodies and Program Director.
Extensive knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
Extensive knowledge of theories, principles, and techniques related to services provided. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
Driver's License
