International Paper (Magnolia) Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in McComb, Mississippi
- Develop a daily plan of the day work routine.
- Maintain the workflow in SAP, coordinate with and schedule technician's daily work including weekends.
- Assist with analyzing FFF data to ensure proper work is being prioritized.
- Coordinate with MPS on parts requirements for planned work to ensure efficient scheduling. Oversee outside service techs when in the plant including Contractor Coordinator responsibilities.
- Assist as needed with the compilation of reports & statistics related to key performance measures for the maintenance department, the planning process for maintenance projects and leading various EHS initiatives related to maintenance & environmental compliance under the direction of the facility Maintenance Manager.
- Utilize systems, including KIWI and SAP, track maintenance key performance measures, including mechanical/electrical downtime, maintenance reliability indices, maintenance breakdowns, etc.
- Manages the work order system and tracks work orders through completion.
- Complies a report related to work order efficiency for the leadership team at the facility.
- Responsible for planning of maintenance projects including scheduling of personnel (employees and contractors), accessing machine manuals, ensuring needed parts are in inventory, working with production team to schedule time and ensuring work orders are in the system, updated and completed throughout the project
- Works in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and local leadership team to schedule predictive/preventative maintenance activities to keep all equipment in good working order.
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, leads some Environmental Health & Safety initiatives in the facility including: air permitting, storm water compliance, HAZMAT, waste water compliance, roof maintenance, Infrared inspections, compressed air management, cooling tower/chiller, air handlers, fire & safety system, inspections, contractor training, employee training, electrical, hot work, etc.
- Assist with inventory/parts management of the facility's storeroom, including maintenance of inventory in the system (SAP), ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained, and storeroom organization routine.
- Responsible for working with Maintenance Manager and machine champions to develop kitting processes for use throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Assists Maintenance Manager as needed in the development and management of capital projects in the ePAD system.
- Fills in for maintenance manager as needed to manage the entire facility maintenance department and may be assigned direct supervisory responsibility for a shift or team of maintenance hourly technicians.
- Oversee boiler daily checks and ensure boiler training is being conducted as per IP standards.
- Oversee and ensure fire rounds are being conducted every Wednesday and ensure department is trained on fire rounds and fire system.
- Ensure shifts are covered to account for call-outs, vacation and anytime there may be a lapse in coverage.
- At no time will there be less than one mechanic and one electrician on electrician on duty.
- Act as the lead electrician, track and plan electrical repairs. Bring in contractors as needed. With bringing in contractor, you will need to develop a running list of all discrepancies separated by area and then prioritize by equipment. At any time, we should be able to see a prioritized list and expected repair date.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
Solid Computer/System skill set is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Prior experience utilizing SAP, KIWI and/or ePAD is highly preferred
Prior supervisory/leadership experience and/or demonstrated situational lea ership skills is required.
Prior mechanical, electrical and/or main
