Our client is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have human resources, computer and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HR Assistant-Compensation & Payroll

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay Range: $16.15 hourly

What’s the Job?

• Responisble for providing administrative and project support by assisting with the development and implementation of Human Resources core programs as well as interpretation of rules, regulations, policies and procedures

• Assist the Human Resources Manager in analyzing and performing data collection for review in areas such as benefits, compensation, staffing/recruiting, HRIS, talent development and other human resources related tasks.

• Update new hire information, job requisition/postings, changing payroll & benefits and/or performing additional human resources related tasks

• Assist with maintenance of templates, training documents, data entry and ERP system support

• Other duties as assigned

What’s Needed?

• Associate's degree required; Associate's Degree in Human Resources, HRIS or related field preferred.

• At least two (2) years of human resources experience, preferred.

• Experience in a higher education institution, preferred.

• Pass compliance items
