This individual works under the direction of and in partnership with the Radiology's team leaders which will include all sections of the

Department of Radiology. This individual will be responsible for providing assistance to the Department of Radiology patients of all ages

(including pediatrics) through his/her support of professional and technical staff. The responsibilities include delegation of components of

patient imaging, patient transfer, radiology information system functions, housekeeping, patient education, and activities of daily living.

About the Job

In this role, the Radiology Assistant will work under the direction of and in partnership with the Radiology's team leaders which will include all sections of the Department of Radiology. The Radiology Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance to the Department of Radiology patients of all ages (including pediatrics) through his/her support of professional and technical staff. The responsibilities include delegation of components of patient imaging, patient transfer, radiology information system functions, housekeeping, patient education, and activities of daily living. Rotating within Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI

Here is what you'll need

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Current enrollment in radiology, nursing, respiratory therapy or other licensed or certified health program preferred.

Preferred:

  • Past experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred which would include a general knowledge of radiology procedures.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • CPR certification from AHA (American Heart Association)
